Provisional Measure of Economic Freedom – Labor Law aspects

Dear Sirs,
Presidential Provisional Measure 881, also known as the “Economic Freedom Act”, brought some changes to Brazilian Labor/Employment Law.
The original text was approved by the Chamber of Deputies on 08/13/2019.
The provisions are still pending of approval by the Federal Senate, but our firm would like to keep our clients informed of the main changes from the aspect of Labor/Employment Laws:
Further changes may still occur when the Act goes through Federal Senate’s consideration of the matter, which should take place by August 27, 2019.
